Liability Statement for eHealthCPR Courses

BLS, Heartsaver, Family & Friends, ACLS, PALS

The course for which you are enrolled may include physical strain, possibility of cross-infection and/or emotional stress.  If your physician has recommended that you avoid strenuous activity or limit your activity in any way, you need to realize that CPR is hard work!  This is true in practicing on the manikins and doing CPR for cardiac arrest victims.

If you have a medical or coronary history that may be aggravated by this course, you should consult your physician and ask his/her advice as to whether you should participate in a CPR course.

If you have recently had any type of infectious disease, including upper respiratory infection or open sores on your mouth or hands, it is imperative to defer manikin practice until you are well.

Our training center issues eCards through the American Heart Association (AHA). Normally these online eCards are issued on the same day, however in extreme circumstances it may take several days or weeks to receive your eCard. You will receive an AHA certificate of completion on the day of your class.

We follows the AHA lesson plans for each course, however the length of courses may vary related to the number of students in your class. We follow the AHA recommendation that one instructor will be provided for each group of six students.

The AHA requires participants to have access to a student manual, this may be electronic or book. An electronic manual comes with online course or an electronic manual may be purchased separately. Books may be included in your course, purchased online before your class or at your class.

Please read the above liability statement for CPR classes. Please understand that the organization or the instructor(s) are not responsible for any physical strain, cross-infection, and/or emotional stress which may occur as a result of participation in the course.
